All the dogs sleep in our bunkhouse on a raised platform. We provide fleece dog blankets for each dog. We find this to be the most comfortable and clean way for the dogs since we can change the bedding daily. We offer several different size bunks for our guests, from the smallest to the largest dog. Does your dog prefer to sleep in his/her crate? We can do that too. Many dogs prefer crates. It gives them a sense of security and a place to relax. If your dog would prefer sleeping in his/her crate, please talk to one of our staff, they will be glad to help decide what is best for your dog’s comfort while with us.

FOOD: Please bring enough food for your dog’s stay with us since dietary changes can result in an upset stomach. Please package all food in separate ziplock bags. For example; if your dog eats 1 cup, twice daily and is staying for 3 days, please bring 6 separate bags with 1 meal per bag.

MEDICATION: ALL MEDICATION must be in the original container, clearly marked and accompanied by the following information: Dog’s first & last name, name of medication and strength, dosage per day and whether it has been given the day of drop-off. We cannot administer injectable medication at this time.

All dogs over 6 months of age MUST be spayed/neutered IF attending day care. All dogs MUST have current vaccination records on file with us. You can have your vet fax them to us if you do not have a copy 772-595-5810.

  • Rabies

  • DHLPP Annually

  • Bordetella every 6 months

Most veterinarians’ protocol is to vaccinate every 12 months for Bordetella. Our requirement is that the Bordetella vaccine be given every 6 months.

The Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine loses its effectiveness as time goes by and we feel that every 6 months provides a safer and healthier environment against this very contagious illness for the dogs that stay with us.

Dog’s must be parasite free and on a flea & tick prevention program. This is for the protection of your dog and every other dog that is staying with us. We cannot risk any contamination on the premises. If you are not using any products, we can treat your dog with one for a small fee. We use Advantage, Frontline or Advantix.
